Nice italian restaurant, but not geniune italian cousine. The place is on vlaamsekaai, so very nice area with a lot of pubs nearby. The interiors are casual and the atmosphere is welcoming. Food is good, but not great. There are the tipical italian courses, but with a belgian spin. For example, I ordered a pasta, then a scaloppina and they were surprised. Why? I asked. And they said courses are too big to have two. So I asked for a kinder portion of pasta, and it was as big as a regular one. When the scaloppina arrived, another pasta arrived, and with big surprise I discovered it was the side course! I sent it back, of course. Pasta is never a side course, in a true italian restaurant. Vegetables and potatoes are, not pasta. Scaloppina was huge and quite tasty -maybe a bit too much sauce, but good-. I think I was around 40 euros for the meal (with a beer or two), so I would say ok on value. To try.
