Heating (Central) - installation in Belgium
Central heating is a heating system where heat is generated at a central point and then transported through some means to the rooms of a building. Installing such a system should be done by a certified central heating installer. Depending on the heat source you have chosen, the installer fits a suitable boiler such as a gas boiler, a boiler for electrical heating, a steam boiler, an installation for warm air heating or a heat pump. In the rooms, heating apparatus such as convectors or radiators are connected to one of these. The number of heating apparatus and their size must be consistent with the room and the temperatures required. Central heating can also be connected to a system for underfloor heating.
