Animal shelters in Belgium
An animal shelter is a kind of hotel where, in exchange for a certain fee, you can bring your pet if you are unable to take care of it for a while. Unlike an animal shelter, the animals are picked up by their owners after their temporary stay in the kennel. A good dog hotel has heated kennels for the night, with a dog bed, a basket and a blanket. During the day, he is able to play with peers outdoors in a large area. Aggressive animals are kept separately. In shelters for cats, the cats are individually or jointly placed in a heated area with baskets, toys and soft blankets. Experience has shown that grieving animals adapt more quickly if they are accompanied by other animals. In most animal shelters, you can choose between the offered pet food of the house or your pet's favorite food. An animal shelter always works closely with a veterinarian in case your animal should get sick.
